What is Reach & Frequency?
Reach and frequency are terms generally used when planning advertising campaigns. However, the concept of reach and frequency applies to any promotional activity you undertake such as direct mail or e-marketing. Reach is the approximate number or percentage of people potentially exposed to the advertising message at least once during the GRP/Showing. Frequency is the average number of times an individual has an opportunity to see the advertising message during a defined period of time - generally measured over a 30-day period.
What is GRP/Showing?
GRP or Gross Rating Points are the total number of impressions delivered by a media schedule sometimes expressed as a percentage of the population. It generally refers to the average number of persons exposed to the advertising display and is generated by dividing the number of advertising signs by the market population. The term “GRP” is often used interchangeably with “Showing.” Showing refers to the number of panels in a buy in relation to the number of vehicles in the transit fleet. The common outdoor advertising industry terms/sizes are #100, #75, #50, and #25, with the numbers relating to the percent of a market’s population. The showing size does not indicate the number of actual signs.
How much does it cost?
Costs involved in transit advertising varies greatly between projects. You can review the rate cards for each bus size for a general idea of the cost for transit advertising. Please feel free to contact us via e-mail or telephone to discuss what your company or organization would like to accomplish and your available options.
Can I choose the bus route that I want my
advertisement on?

No, your bus advertisement stays on the same bus all of the time unless a bus is taken out of service, in which case your sign is moved to another bus. Buses are rotated on a regular basis throughout the system which means that in a one-month period, your ad may cover additional areas. Depending on your target region, we place your signs on buses at three base locations.

How is my sign designed?
There are several ways of designing your ad. We can do the creative for you - just call us for a design quote. You can hire an ad or graphic design agency to design your ad. Or you can supply the artwork yourself. We do ask that if we do not create the artwork for you that our file specifications are followed carefully so that we can produce the digital output properly.
Will my sign fade in the sun or becomes damaged?
The signs are digitally printed on vinyl and then coated with a high performance UV protectant so they will last several years on the bus with no fading. If your sign is damaged, it will be replaced at no additional charge to you - your initial sign production cost includes replacement insurance.
Can I change my sign?
You can change your ad at any time without affecting the cost of your monthly unit rate, but please note that there will be an additional production cost (and creative cost if applicable) to produce the new sign.
Is there a minimum purchase amount?

There is no minimum quantity commitment. However, in order for this form of advertising to be most effective, we recommend to produce as many signs as your outdoor advertising budget allows

Do I have to pay for the entire term of my contract
up front?
No, rental rates are billed monthly. The advantage to paying up front for your advertising is the discount that is offered when your contract is paid in full upon signing.
When the contract ends, what happens to the signs?
All signs are removed from the buses. Upon request, we can save the signs to be used at a later date.
